|  | -Residency fee includes approximately rent 42%; food 16% and care service 42%.
Rent: Includes furnished room with heat, hydro, parking, and call alarm system in all bedrooms and bathrooms. Each of the two rooms has a common bathroom. Independent suites are self-contained. Should a resident choose to install an air-conditioning unit in his/her room, the resident will have to cover the extra energy costs incurred due to the use of the air-conditioner.
Country View Lodge has 18 units with 35 rooms available to the residents. Heat and smoke detectors detectors are in all rooms. All fire exit doors are equipped with security alarms.
Food: Three home cooked meals and frequent snacks are provided. Our menus ensure that all of our dietary needs are satisfied.
Care Service: Includes personal emergency service response, housekeeping, laundry service, assistance with activities of daily living and hygiene, assistance with prescribed medication, assistance with transportation [if family member or guarantor is not available, Country View will assist in arranging transportation and will bill separately], complete social and activities program, 24 hours supervision, trained professional staff, supervision of nursing requirements, regular home visits by our attending physicians. Banking and religious services are provided on a regular basis.

| NOTE: Fees for medication including blood work, lab tests etc., [which are not covered by OHIP], any medical supplies, nutrient supplement e.g. ENSURE, RESOURCE etc., hairdressing, foot clinic, transportation to appointments, ambulance fee, depends [incontinent products], personal supplies and expenses etc. are the sole responsibility of residents/guarantors.
Residents are required to leave one month's residency fees on deposit with Country View Lodge, which will be credited against the resident's last month's occupation.
Fees are calculated on a monthly basis.
Complaint procedure: Initial complaint, if any, is to be made to the Nurse-in-charge. Any further concerns may be raised with the administrator of the home. |  |
| | General Information
Fees are subject to change as per prevailing law.
Should a resident vacate, a refund for the remainder of the month will not be issued. No discount is given towards rent, meals and care service for absence.
Rent will not be increased more than once every twelve months or the guideline that is set each year by the Ministry of Housing.
90 days advance notice will be given before the date of the rent increase.
Care service and food costs are part of the residency fee and NOT the part of the rent.
Resident may cancel the residency agreement by telling Country View Lodge in writing within five days after signing that the agreement is cancelled.
